New EP 'Mooching' Is Out NOW!!

Lizzie Reid’s music, so far, is an open exploration of the young Glaswegians experiences of love, loss, identity and modern life. Her debut EP ‘Cubicle’ was released in January 2021, and included the singles ‘Tribute’, ‘Seamless’ and ‘Always Lovely’, which racked up plays across XFM, BBC 6 music and BBC Radio 1.

Her latest EP entitled ‘Mooching’ was released in August 2022 and she describes as “written at the start of lockdown, when staying indoors was a novelty, there was still an air of hopefulness and we were naïve about what was in store for us. It breaks my heart a little thinking back on it.” The record explores themes of love, excitement, anxiety and new beginnings and contains the singles ‘Bible’, ‘How Do I Show My Love’, ‘Warpaint’ and ‘Love of Her Life’.

Drawing comparisons to contemporaries like Laura Marling, Angel Olsen and Julia Jacklin, Reid has an honest vulnerability which shines through in her songs creating a mature, steely eyed reflection on the topics she tackles.
